Summary

Tricroma collects no personal data. There is no account with the developer, no analytics, no tracking and no ads. The developer does not receive or store your data.

Who is responsible

Mattia Meligeni, the app's developer: dev@mattiameligeni.com.

What stays on your device

Your library, playback positions, history, settings and downloads stay on the device. Credentials for Plex, Jellyfin, Emby, IPTV and network folders (SMB), and your OMDb key if you add one, are kept in the system Keychain and sent only to the service they belong to. Tricroma does not sync anything with iCloud or with servers of the developer: positions and watched state are shared across devices only through your own servers (Plex, Jellyfin, Emby, Tricroma DVR).

Who the app talks to

Only the sources you add: your Plex, Jellyfin and Emby servers, IPTV playlists, NAS folders and your own Tricroma DVR server, which also provide posters, artwork and title information. To link a Plex account the app uses plex.tv, Plex's sign-in service. OMDb is contacted only if you add your own key, for plots and posters of movies in folders, and receives the titles looked up. Like any connection, these services see your device's IP address; each handles data under its own privacy policy.

Crash reports

Tricroma sends no crash reports of its own. If you choose to share them with Apple (TestFlight or App Store diagnostics, in the device settings), Apple makes them available to the developer under its own privacy policy. In TestFlight, reports and feedback you send come with the name and email of your TestFlight account; they are used only to fix the app.

Your rights

Since the developer stores no personal data, you can delete everything the app saved at any time by removing your sources or uninstalling it. Questions: dev@mattiameligeni.com.
